You can renew your U.S. passport if?

You can submit your most recent passport.
You were at least 16 years old when your most recent passport was issued.
Your previous U.S. passport was issued less than 15 years ago.
Your expired passport is undamaged.
Your passport was issued in your current name or you can legally document your name change.

Complete and gather the following items listed below

1. Fill out Application to Renew Passport (DS-82)

Make sure you sign the application

2. Passport

You will need to have in your possession one of the following:
A current U.S. Passport.
An expired U.S. Passport issued less than 15 years ago.
** Passport must be undamaged and issued when you were 16 years or older **

3. Passport Photographs

Two (2) identical recent passport size (2 in X 2 in) photos
** Photographs must be in color on a white background. Ensure you are not wearing any head covering. (If head covering is worn, you must submit in writing the reason why you are wearing a covering i.e. religious reasons. Document must contain your original signature.) **

4. Proof of Name Change

If the name you are currently using differs from the name on your previous passport you must submit proof of name change such as:
        Original Marriage Certificate
        Original Divorce Decree
        Original Court Order showing name change

5. Proof of Departure

You must provide one of the following items:
A copy of your airline ticket (2 copies)
A copy of your travel itinerary from a travel agent or online agency (such as Orbitz or Expedia) (2 copies)
** If this is a business trip and you cannot provide a confirmed itinerary, you will need to submit a letter on company letter head explaining the purpose of your trip and expected dates of travel. **

6. Release Letter/Letter of Authorization

Fill out and sign two (2) copies of the Release letter/Letter of authorization giving A1 Passport & Visa, LLC permission to process the passport on your behalf.

One check or money order is payable to U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE in the amount of $170.00
(This is the government expedite processing fee)

Note:
1. Temporary checks are not acceptable
2. Your name and address must be printed on top of the check, not handwritten (Company checks are acceptable)
3. The applicant's name and date of birth must appear in the memo section of the check.

8. Fill out the Information Sheet, Pay Fees On-line and Hand Deliver or Mail your documents to our office.

PAY ONLINE

Choose the “PAY ONLINE” tab and select your service from the menu of products, add them to the cart and “check out”. You will then be directed to create an account. Your passport will be returned to you at the address listed and based on the method of shipping chosen at the checkout menu.

Checks should be made payable to: A1 Passport & Visa, LLC

In the memo section of the check the applicants name and date of birth should appear.

Omar and A1 Passport and Visa to the rescue! I was checking in with a group at British Airways in Houston when I was told that my passport had expired. I felt devestated! A friend in the group googled passport services on her cell phone and found Omar's business and phone number but it was late afternoon and we figured we'd have o wait till the next day to see him. My husband and I checked into a hotel and then took a chance and called Omar's number to find out when we could see him. I highly recommend this company to everyone. I was informed of a business trip to Mexico I only had two days to get my passport so I called Omar in Houston and he informed me I do a 24 hr passport service the sealed pkg was to be there at 8:00 am but UPS was late so the passport agency could not do the same day passport. The day I was leaving from Oklahoma city Omar hand delivered my passport to southwest airlines in Houston to have it delivered in Okc before I left. Cause of Omar I made it to Mexico and kept my job.
