NOTE FOR FIFA WORLD CUP SPECTATORS (from the Consulate General of Brazil)
The Consulate of Brazil has started issuing Temporary Special Tourist Visas for World Cup spectators with purchased tickets.  The ORIGINAL Ticket Certificate is required to apply for a visa to the World Cup.

Consulate of Russia:  Effective Immediately, the ILS service fee is now $33.00.  Additionally, the Consulate of Russia now requires that you print Russia visa applications front and back.  

China Visa processing Changes:  China has a new application and designations for travelers.  Please ensure that you use the proper designation for your travel and that all areas on the application are complete or contain N/A. Effective January 2014, there are new fees for Rush and Same Day processing. Please view our China visa page for more information. 

The following Consulates require applicants to appear in person:    Canada, Argentina, Venezuela and Angola

Consulate of Brazil:  Local Police Clearances for Student and Work visas are no longer accepted. You must provide an FBI clearance.  All supporting documentation issued in the U.S. must be an original and notarized by a notary public. This applies to copies of identification, business letters, scholarship letters, and other similar documents. 

Consulate of India:  We are no longer able to assist with Renunciations. Please contact BLS directly for renunciation assistance. 

Passport Appliations:   Applicants must complete the application online.  Applications must contain the 2D barcode on the upper left hand corner of the form.  Applications turned in without the barcode will be rejected and will need to be resubmitted.  Handwritten applications are not accepted.
